To Infinity And Beyond... Or Something Like That

Do you ever ask yourself, why aren't there any Sci-Fi turn based role playing games that feature an alien that looks remarkably like a testicle. One, if you have that's an odd question in general and two, I guess that's kind of irrelevant now that Final Equinox The Arrival is here.

Final Equinox The Arrival puts you the player in the role of a "newly appointed starship admiral whose fleet encounters a new enemy in deep space." For those of you hankering for a good old fashion role playing game look no further. Final Equinox not only features the turn based battle system that many fans of the genre enjoy, but also more lore than you could possibly hope. Like any good RPG the game is made by the creatures that inhabit it and Final Equinox has them in spades. Whether you're talking about the wrathful Krum or the devious Malderians each race has it's own unique back story ripe with espionage and intrigue. Hell even the Terrans (Humans) have a pretty interesting back story, which is generally lacking in role playing games.

Final Equinox The Arrival's story is very much crafted by each and every player because of it's "reactive dialogue." Each interaction in the game will allow you to make choices in a visual novelesque way, you can make choices that will yield any sort of payoff. Some lead to prosperity, others death. In my opinion the best RPGs out there are the few that allow you to make your own story in the world they create and Final Equinox is one of them.

Frozen Realm Studios has yet to announce a release date for Final Equinox The Arrival but they did just launch a Kickstarter to help fund is development. Pledges yield everything from an artbook to your own appearance in the game. So if you're a fan of turn based role playing games or just testicle monsters, consider pledging to help fund this space fairing adventure.
